Values Matter

Kinder Chapel Uniform

A great education includes more than just academics – it also provides a frame of reference which enables students to make good choices for a lifetime. Character is not developed in a vacuum. Children develop good values when they are surrounded by caring adults – at home and at school – who demonstrate integrity and concern.

Children can best achieve their potential when they are safe, recognized and treated as individuals, and have teachers who love to teach. At Ashleys, our small class sizes make individualized attention possible, and our teachers make each classroom a special place.

Appearance and Attire (Dress, attitude and actions all serve as reference points on the road to individualism. Our goal is to maintain an environment that provides a maximum opportunity for learning.

Focus on Academics

Students at Ashleys Private School experience a flexible curriculum with a strong emphasis on basic academic skills.

Reading begins in kindergarten using a phonics-based system. Ashleys students consistently achieve at or above national norms in reading, math, language arts and science as demonstrated by the Stanford Achievement Test.

Field trips can bring to life lessons on history, ecology, arts and sciences. Ashleys students participate in a variety of field trips which are coordinated with the curriculum and scheduled throughout the year.

Additionally, computer, physical education, music, Spanish and art classes are important parts of the curriculum.

What Parents Have to Say About Ashleys

“The years my daughters spent at Ashleys helped to shape them into the wonderful young women they are today. My oldest daughter is now graduating college with a degree in Civil Engineering and my youngest is at UT majoring in Physical Therapy. Both girls have been on the Dean’s List. The experiences my girls had at Ashleys were first rate and have been a springboard to their success.  Thanks for providing the fine educational experiences that have forever shaped their lives.”

Mike and Lupe Fasano, Amarillo, TX

“The curriculum pertaining to each grade seems to be perfect – strong enough to allow students to be challenged and progress intellectually and academically without being overwhelmed.”

Julie Woodson, Cedar Hill, TX

“In addition to the curriculum , Ashleys nurtures good behavior and conduct. From classroom instruction to interesting field trips, Ashleys students stand out and stand above the crowd.”

Malcolm Avaritt, Midlothian, TX
